A traditional British blue cheese from the Swaledale Cheese Company in Richmond, North Yorkshire. Swaledale blue is one of the best balanced blues we have ever tried - a perfect combination of creaminess, bitter blueing and smooth salty bite with a great aftertaste. Consistently good and highly recommended, it is not surprising that this cheese was awarded a gold medal at the world cheese awards 2008. Made with pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet.
