Jervaulx blue (200g)

Jervaulx Abbey in North Yorkshire was the home of the monks who originally crafted Wensleydale cheese around the year 1150. The Abbey is at one end of the Dale and the Wensleydale Creamery at the other end. The Abbey was destroyed by Henry VIII but the creamery is still there and going from strength to strength!  Jervaulx Blue was launched by the Creamery in April;  it has traditional sharp blue flavours and a creamy finish. The cheese is already attracting a good deal of positive attention and has won a number of awards to date. Made with pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet
