Cornish Yarg 200g

Fast becoming a classic British cheese, Cornish Yarg was originally introduced to the market shortly after the second world war.  Originally developed by the Gray family (hence the name yarg - work it out!) it is now made at Lynher dairies at Ponsanooth.  Cornish yarg is mild and citrusy yet complex with a creamy texture.  The cheese is famously wrapped in nettle leaves which aids the development of moulds which add a herby, mushroom flavour to the cheese.  All that and it looks beautiful on the cheeseboard!  made with pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet.
