When you unwrap this cheese, you are immediately assailed with the rich scent of hay.  Fontina is a milky, grassy well flavoured herbaceous cheese from Aosta in North Italy, tradtionaly served as a melted dish similar to fondue, fontina can be used as a table cheese or in many delicious recipes.  made with un-pasteurised milk and animal rennet.
